Valentine’s day is just around the corner and you don’t want to forget your sweetie. Whether you’ve been married 5 days or 50 years, love is always worth celebrating. Danny and I are not a couple who makes a huge deal of Valentine’s Day. We don’t go out to eat just because we enjoy cooking together at home. Because we are empty nesters, for us it is much more romantic to cook together then, we can eat in peace on what must surely be one of the busiest nights for couples to eat out all year long. The hustle and bustle in the restaurants on that particular night is something we found we did not enjoy. We do like to exchange gifts. Without doubt, one of my love languages is receiving gifts, I also love to give gifts. I have rounded up a few gift ideas that I am thinking about for my Valentine.
Danny actually has one of these and really likes it.
For the fisherman
For the man who loves to cook
For the boater in your life
No matter how you spend your Valentine’s Day or whether or not you exchange gifts; I wish you love and happiness with your special someone. We should never take the gift of love for granted.
